Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages in strict accordance with Dapoer Cerita’s quality standards.
- Maintain consistent flavor profiles by calibrating grinders, monitoring extraction times, and adjusting brewing parameters as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations throughout each shift, following food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and ancillary supplies, conducting daily checks and reporting low stock to the manager.
- Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and generate accurate sales reports.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to every customer, answering questions about menu items, coffee origins, and brewing methods.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours and to support special events or promotions.
- Participate in regular training sessions, tasting panels, and coffee cupping events to deepen product knowledge and enhance barista skills.
- Adhere to the company’s schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Uphold the brand’s values by practicing punctuality, discipline, and a strong work ethic in all interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years old or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Must be a practicing Muslim who observes the five daily prayers.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a barista in a fast‑paced café or specialty coffee shop.
- Demonstrated passion for coffee culture and a solid understanding of coffee bean origins, roasting levels, and brewing techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate warmly and professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Highly disciplined, detail‑oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the established schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and to cover holidays when required.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work environment at all times.
