Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager – Retail Operations Lead to spearhead the daily operations of our bustling café and food‑and‑beverage (F&B) outlet. This pivotal role combines strong leadership, meticulous inventory oversight, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, ensuring that every aspect of the store runs smoothly, profitably, and in alignment with our brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control: monitor stock levels, place orders with suppliers, conduct regular cycle counts, and minimize waste.
- Prepare and analyze simple financial reports such as daily sales summaries, expense tracking, and profit‑and‑loss statements to identify trends and drive profitability.
- Drive sales targets by implementing promotional activities, upselling techniques, and visual merchandising strategies.
- Ensure consistent, high‑quality customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Utilize the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing, transaction reconciliation, and data extraction for business insights.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to leverage social media platforms for brand awareness, special events, and community engagement.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring all equipment is functional and safety standards are met.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate performance goals, policy updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree) or higher (S1 preferred).
- At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in the F&B or café sector.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of daily operations, inventory control, and basic financial reporting.
- Customer‑service orientation with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency with digital POS systems and familiarity with social media marketing tools.
