We are seeking a motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic collections team covering the Palembang region. The successful candidate will operate primarily in the field, visiting client locations, negotiating payment arrangements, and delivering accurate reports that drive our cash‑flow performance. Responsibilities
- Conduct on‑site debt collection activities by visiting consumers throughout the Palembang area.
- Engage customers in clear, courteous communication to negotiate payment terms, settlement offers, and repayment schedules.
- Collect cash, bank transfers, or electronic payments directly from clients, ensuring proper documentation and receipt issuance.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any escalated issues.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date account mapping system to track geographic coverage, travel routes, and collection efficiency.
- Achieve weekly and monthly collection targets set by the supervisor, contributing to overall portfolio performance.
- Identify high‑risk accounts, provide early warnings, and recommend proactive strategies to the credit risk team.
- Collaborate with internal departments—such as Customer Service, Legal, and Finance—to resolve disputes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Safeguard all sensitive customer data in accordance with data‑privacy policies and company guidelines.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on negotiation techniques, legal updates, and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections; 2 years preferred, especially in field or outbound collection environments.
- Valid motorbike (Roda Dua) and a current SIM C driving license.
- Thorough familiarity with the Palembang metropolitan area, including key neighborhoods and commercial zones.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to resolve conflicts and persuade customers.
- Analytical mindset for assessing account status, payment history, and risk factors.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a full schedule from Monday to Friday (09:00 – 18:00).
