Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Salesman – Consumer OTC Products to join our growing sales force. This role focuses on promoting a portfolio of over‑the‑counter health and personal‑care items across a designated territory in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with modern trade outlets, pharmacies, and other distribution channels.

As a front‑line representative of our brand, you will work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve monthly and quarterly targets within the assigned area.
  • Conduct routine, scheduled visits to pharmacies, supermarkets, and other outlets according to a detailed call plan.
  • Initiate and follow up on orders through B2B platforms, company website, and email, with a special focus on Modern Trade accounts.
  • Manage invoicing, collect payments, and ensure that all cash receipts are processed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales activity reports, including visit logs, order status, and market insights.
  • Present the full product range to maximize shelf space and cross‑sell complementary items, thereby increasing overall sales volume.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, distributors, and internal principals to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels at each outlet, coordinate with the logistics team to prevent stock‑outs, and arrange timely replenishment.
  • Identify and develop new customer accounts while nurturing existing ones to expand market coverage.
  • Provide market feedback on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) to track performance metrics, forecast sales, and create presentations for management.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience in pharmaceutical distribution, consumer health products, or medical equipment. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Proven ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
  • Strong orientation toward achieving and exceeding sales targets; persistent and highly motivated.
  • Excellent time‑management and self‑discipline to work independently in a mobile environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Gender: Open to all candidates.
