Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels, documents, and small freight from our warehouse or partner locations and deliver them to designated recipients within agreed time windows.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using navigation apps on an Android smartphone, ensuring the most efficient path while covering the Pekanbaru metropolitan area and nearby districts.
- Maintain accurate records of each delivery, including signature capture, photographic proof of drop‑off, and real‑time status updates in the company’s tracking system.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing any recipient inquiries, handling cash on delivery (COD) transactions, and resolving minor delivery issues on the spot.
- Inspect the condition of packages before transport, report any damages or discrepancies to the logistics coordinator, and follow proper handling procedures for fragile or high‑value items.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safety protocols, wearing appropriate protective gear and ensuring the motorbike is well‑maintained.
- Participate in periodic briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new service offerings, technology tools, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other couriers and dispatch staff to ensure balanced workload distribution, especially during peak periods such as holidays and promotional campaigns.
Requirements
- Male candidates only, in accordance with the company’s operational policy.
- Minimum age of 18 years; no upper age limit.
- Educational background of at least SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of proven experience as a motor courier or in a similar delivery role.
- Valid Indonesian ID (KTP), a current SIM C driver’s license, and a recent copy of your diploma or certificate.
- Own a well‑maintained motorbike that meets safety standards and an Android‑based smartphone capable of running GPS and courier apps.
- Strong familiarity with the geography of Pekanbaru, including major streets, residential neighborhoods, commercial zones, and industrial areas.
- Demonstrated physical stamina, healthy condition, and the ability to lift and carry parcels weighing up to 15 kg.
- Key soft skills: disciplined work ethic, high level of honesty, responsibility, punctuality, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during high‑volume periods.
