Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Mekanik Kendaraan Isuzu – Perawatan & Perbaikan to join our growing logistics fleet in the Palembang and Lampung regions. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of our operational trucks, many of which are powered by robust diesel engines. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic workshop environment, performing routine servicing, troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, and ensuring that every vehicle meets the highest standards before hitting the road.

Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance (service berkala) on company trucks to minimize downtime.
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on engines, brake systems, electrical wiring, suspension, and other critical components.
- Respond swiftly to unexpected breakdowns and field complaints, providing on‑site support when necessary.
- Verify vehicle condition before and after each deployment, ensuring compliance with safety and roadworthiness standards.
- Replace and install spare parts according to manufacturer specifications, guaranteeing proper fit and function.
- Utilize workshop tools and diagnostic equipment correctly while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Document all service activities, parts used, and labor hours in the company’s maintenance management system.
- Collaborate with the fleet manager and other technicians to develop maintenance schedules that align with operational demands.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics, sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest Isuzu truck technologies, diesel engine trends, and industry safety regulations.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 27 years.
- Education: Minimum SMK Otomotif or equivalent technical diploma; high school (SMA/SMK) acceptable.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in a reputable automotive workshop or a similar environment.
- Valid SIM A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated experience working with diesel engines and heavy‑duty trucks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including proficiency in using diagnostic tools, torque wrenches, and lift equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight service windows.
- Physical stamina to handle lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing.
- Willingness to relocate or be stationed in Palembang or Lampung.
- Male gender as specified by the client’s current staffing policy.
