Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Helper – Penunjang Operasional to join our growing team in Semarang. This entry‑level position plays a critical supporting role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operations of our facility. Responsibilities
The Helper will work closely with supervisors, technicians, and other operational staff to provide essential assistance across multiple functions. Key duties include:
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and basic maintenance of production areas, warehouses, and common facilities.
- Support inventory management by labeling, sorting, and stocking items according to established procedures.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely, reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
- Help prepare workstations and ensure that all necessary supplies are readily available for shift crews.
- Participate in daily safety briefings, adhere to all company safety policies, and maintain an up‑to‑date SKCK (police clearance).
- Provide courteous assistance to internal staff and external visitors, acting as a positive representative of the organization.
- Document daily activities and report any irregularities or incidents to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Male (Laki‑laki) as per local labor regulations for this position.
- Completed secondary education (SMA/SMK or equivalent) with a focus on a relevant vocational field.
- At least 1 year of prior experience in an operational or support role, preferably in a manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics environment.
- Active SKCK (Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian) with no criminal record.
- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a genuine “niat bekerja” (intention to work) attitude.
- Basic proficiency in using handheld devices or simple software for inventory tracking is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods.
