Responsibilities
- Handle all cash and electronic transactions accurately while taking food and beverage orders at the point‑of‑sale.
- Prepare a wide variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and light meals according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ tables, ensuring a friendly and professional presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular wiping of equipment, counters, and display cases.
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the café area, including floor sweeping, trash disposal, and restroom checks.
- Conduct regular stock counts (stock opname), report low inventory, and assist with receiving deliveries.
- Support team members during peak periods, assist with opening and closing procedures, and help train new staff when needed.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations and Aeon’s internal policies.
- Engage with customers, answer menu questions, and suggest complementary items to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting (fresh graduates are also considered).
- Maximum age: 26 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Resides near the Aeon BSD location or is willing to commute daily.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to speak basic English is a plus.
- Strong work ethic: active, quick‑thinking, initiative‑driven, and highly dedicated.
- Personal attributes: honesty, politeness, courteous demeanor, and a well‑groomed appearance.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts—including opening, middle, closing, weekends, holidays, and public celebrations.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic proficiency with coffee equipment, barista tools, and food presentation techniques.
- Public speaking confidence for occasional promotional events or product demonstrations.
