Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Salesman with extensive retail experience to join our dynamic team in the Klaten region. Responsibilities
- Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of products to retail customers across the Klaten area, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing retailers while actively seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and untapped sales channels, translating insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, and accurate product availability information for customers.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of each retailer.
- Gather and relay customer feedback, product performance data, and market intelligence to senior management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to stay aligned with corporate goals and best practices.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements while representing the brand professionally in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or retail sales role, preferably within a similar product category.
- Strong knowledge of retail products, fashion market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision‑makers and close deals.
- Target‑oriented mindset, capable of working under pressure to achieve and surpass sales quotas.
- Proficient in time management, organization, and prioritizing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Team player who collaborates effectively with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales support teams.
- Analytical abilities in competitive analysis, market trend assessment, and sales data interpretation.
