Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Salesman with extensive retail experience to join our dynamic team in the Klaten region. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing our market presence in the competitive retail sector. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in sales, a deep understanding of retail product lines, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s portfolio of products to retail customers across the Klaten area, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing retailers while actively seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and untapped sales channels, translating insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels, timely replenishment, and accurate product availability information for customers.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations tailored to the specific needs of each retailer.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback, product performance data, and market intelligence to senior management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to stay aligned with corporate goals and best practices.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements while representing the brand professionally in the field.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales or retail sales role, preferably within a similar product category.
  • Strong knowledge of retail products, fashion market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision‑makers and close deals.
  • Target‑oriented mindset, capable of working under pressure to achieve and surpass sales quotas.
  • Proficient in time management, organization, and prioritizing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with marketing, logistics, and after‑sales support teams.
  • Analytical abilities in competitive analysis, market trend assessment, and sales data interpretation.
