We are seeking a proactive Sales Order Taking Representative to join our dynamic team at a leading printing and packaging solutions provider in Bandung. The role focuses on managing inbound sales orders, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and production. Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process customer orders through phone, email, and online platforms while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate closely with the production and logistics teams to guarantee timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of all sales activities in the CRM system and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Microsoft Excel.
- Provide product information, pricing details, and delivery schedules to clients, offering tailored solutions that meet their packaging needs.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution and high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct follow‑up calls to confirm order receipt, delivery status, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and market trend analyses to stay informed about industry developments.
- Travel to the Bandung branch as required and represent the company at client visits, trade shows, and industry events.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the printing, packaging, or related manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Strong target‑orientation with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales goals.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Negotiation and relationship‑building expertise, capable of influencing decision‑makers.
- Own reliable transportation and a valid SIM C/A (motorcycle or car license).
- Willingness to be based at our Bandung branch and work the schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00–17:00.
- Soft skills such as problem‑solving, adaptability, and teamwork are highly valued.
