Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista Profesional Penyaji Minuman Kopi to join our vibrant coffeehouse team. The role is based in a busy urban location and operates six days a week, providing a stable schedule for candidates who thrive on routine and enjoy interacting with a diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee‑based beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the barista station, coffee machines, grinders, and all related equipment.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, reporting shortages to the store manager in a timely manner.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate service to customers, taking orders, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Educate guests about coffee origins, brewing methods, and tasting notes, fostering an engaging and informative customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations.
- Assist in training new staff on barista techniques, equipment operation, and customer service protocols.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain consistent extraction times and flavor profiles.
- Participate in periodic product tastings and menu development sessions to introduce new offerings.
Requirements
- Female candidates only, as specified by the client’s operational policy.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least basic experience in a coffee‑shop or hospitality setting; prior barista experience is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact courteously with customers and teammates.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when handling supplies.
- Passion for coffee culture and a desire to continuously improve brewing techniques.
