Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Replace linens, towels, and amenities according to hotel standards, ensuring all items are stocked and neatly arranged.
  • Inspect rooms after cleaning to verify that all work meets quality guidelines and report any maintenance issues to the engineering department.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, public restrooms, and back‑of‑house areas such as the laundry and staff rooms.
  • Handle guest requests promptly, such as delivering extra pillows, toiletries, or special housekeeping services.
  • Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to coordinate room turnover times and prioritize urgent cleaning tasks.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Document daily activities in the housekeeping log and communicate any shortages of supplies to the supervisor.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new cleaning techniques, sustainability practices, and guest service trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate degree) in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a room attendant or in a similar housekeeping role.
  • Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly to guests and team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities; a fast learner who can adapt to evolving procedures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to perform under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of standing, bending, and lifting moderate weights throughout the shift.
