We are seeking a motivated Supervisor – Buggy Mechanical to lead our specialized automotive team. This role is focused on the maintenance, repair, and performance tuning of off‑road buggy vehicles as well as Golf‑type cars. The ideal candidate will combine hands‑on mechanical expertise with strong administrative skills to ensure efficient workshop operations and high‑quality service delivery.

Our workshop operates six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, providing a dynamic environment where technical knowledge meets customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily workshop activities, ensuring all buggy and Golf‑type vehicle repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, develop repair plans, and oversee the execution of complex maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with parts suppliers to secure timely delivery of components, minimizing vehicle downtime.
  • Maintain accurate service records, inventory logs, and work order documentation using our management software.
  • Mentor junior mechanics, providing on‑the‑job training, performance feedback, and skill development opportunities.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend vehicle lifespan and reduce unexpected breakdowns.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, conducting regular equipment inspections and safety briefings.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to communicate repair timelines and manage client expectations.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports for senior management, highlighting productivity metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Continuously stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, especially trends related to buggy and compact car engineering.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a specialization in automotive technology is strongly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands‑on experience working with buggy vehicles or Golf‑type cars.
  • Age limit: up to 38 years old (preference for mature, reliable candidates).
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins.
  • Strong administrative competence – comfortable with work‑order systems, inventory control, and report generation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers.
  • Team‑player mindset with leadership potential; able to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to off‑site job locations if required.
