Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Retail to join our bustling store team. The position is based in a high‑traffic retail environment where fast, accurate, and friendly service is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and driving sales. This role offers a stable Monday‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 17:00, and is ideal for individuals who are eager to begin or continue a career in retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Process all cash, credit, and electronic transactions quickly and accurately using the store’s POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconciling any discrepancies according to company policy.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, answering product inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Execute returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with store procedures, while protecting against fraud.
- Assist with daily store opening and closing duties, including counting cash, securing the register, and preparing cash deposits.
- Collaborate with sales associates to ensure shelves are stocked, promotional displays are updated, and inventory levels are accurate.
- Monitor and report any technical issues with the POS system, coordinating with IT or store management for timely resolution.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and loss‑prevention guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Support special sales events, holiday peaks, and promotional campaigns by handling increased transaction volume efficiently.
- Continuously improve product knowledge to better assist customers and upsell complementary items.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 30 years old (maximum 0 years of experience required, making this an entry‑level position).
- Gender: Female candidates preferred.
- Strong desire to work seriously and consistently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey information clearly to customers.
- Non‑problematic attitude with a focus on teamwork and conflict resolution.
- Highly disciplined, punctual, and accountable for assigned tasks.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, follow store rules, and meet performance targets.
- Prior experience as a cashier is a valuable plus but not mandatory.
- Basic computer literacy, especially familiarity with cash register systems and inventory software.
