Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Team Leader for our Magetan branch to oversee daily operations, guide a motivated sales team, and drive growth within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our storefront personnel (SPG) and merchandising staff (MD) meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and brand representation. The ideal candidate will combine solid leadership experience with strong analytical abilities and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of SPG and MD staff to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.
- Develop and implement action plans for market penetration, product placement, and promotional activities in the Magetan region.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports—daily performance summaries, weekly progress dashboards, and comprehensive monthly analyses—using Microsoft Office tools.
- Monitor competitor activities, conduct market trend analysis, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate with logistics, inventory, and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and arrange targeted training or coaching sessions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and BPJS (Health & Employment) requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and local business partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and preserving brand reputation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce overhead costs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a Team Leader, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high‑performing sales team.
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing both internal teams and external partners.
- Analytical capabilities such as competitor analysis and sales performance tracking.
- Leadership qualities: decision‑making, problem‑solving, and the ability to inspire accountability.

- Flexible schedule: standard working hours from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional adjustments based on promotional events.
