Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Production – Bread & Pastry to join our bustling bakery team. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where creativity meets precision, and where every day brings the aroma of fresh‑baked goods to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire production cycle, from dough preparation to final oven output, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to food‑safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mix, and proof dough for a variety of breads, rolls, and pastries according to standardized recipes.
  • Operate commercial ovens, mixers, proofing cabinets, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve optimal texture, crust, and flavor profiles.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment to maintain a hygienic production area.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, including batch numbers, ingredient weights, and waste records.
  • Collaborate closely with the head baker and fellow team members to coordinate daily production schedules and meet peak‑time demand.
  • Assist in developing new product ideas, experimenting with flavors, fillings, and decorative techniques.
  • Ensure all products comply with internal quality standards and external food‑safety regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, such as reducing dough waste or optimizing oven load.
  • Uphold a positive, proactive attitude and demonstrate high initiative, especially during busy periods.

Requirements

  • All genders are welcome to apply.
  • Minimum education: either a D3/D4 degree in Food Science, Hospitality, or a related field, or a SMK Tata Boga (Culinary Arts) diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a commercial bakery or pastry kitchen.
  • Proficiency in bread‑making techniques, oven management, and dough handling.
  • Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment, including mixers, proofers, and industrial ovens.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Excellent attitude, high initiative, and a “no‑baper” (no over‑sensitivity) mindset.
  • Creative flair for developing new baked products and improving existing recipes.
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
