Responsibilities
- Load, secure, and transport parcels and small shipments using a personal motorbike, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Deliver items to designated addresses throughout Batam City, ensuring punctuality and careful handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct a thorough pre‑delivery inspection of each order, confirming item count, condition, and correct documentation.
- Perform post‑delivery verification, obtaining customer signatures or digital confirmations and noting any discrepancies.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods from the motorbike, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, and submit these reports to the operations team.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers via a company‑provided Android smartphone, updating status and requesting assistance when needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering basic queries, handling small complaints, and representing the brand professionally.
- Participate in regular vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the motorbike remains in prime condition.
- Support special promotional or “beli‑an” campaigns by delivering promotional materials or bulk orders as required.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years; maximum age: 45 years.
- Possess a valid driver’s license for motorbikes and own a well‑maintained motorcycle.
- Reside within the designated service area of Batam City.
- Own an Android smartphone with at least 4 GB RAM for route navigation and real‑time reporting.
- Education: Open to all levels; high school diploma preferred.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities; courteous and professional when dealing with customers.
- Basic literacy in reading addresses and handling simple documentation.
- Ability to work independently while staying in constant contact with the dispatch team.
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages up to 20 kg.
