Introduction
We are looking for a motivated Waiter – Customer Service Specialist to join our bustling restaurant team. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast‑paced environments, love interacting with guests, and possess a solid foundation in food service, beverage preparation, and cash handling. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the overall operation of the establishment from Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions regarding dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, enter them into the POS system, and communicate any special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Prepare basic menu items, such as salads, appetizers, and simple hot dishes, in accordance with established recipes.
- Mix and serve a variety of non‑alcoholic beverages, including fresh juices, smoothies, and specialty coffees.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring that all service stations are stocked.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions efficiently, and reconcile daily sales reports with the cashier’s log.
- Assist in inventory checks, restocking supplies, and reporting any shortages to the manager.
- Provide attentive, courteous, and personalized service to each guest, addressing concerns quickly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth workflow during peak periods.
- Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, hygiene standards, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant or similar food‑service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both as a waiter and as a cashier, with strong numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in preparing simple meals and a variety of non‑alcoholic drinks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage guests of all ages.
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and a professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday‑Saturday) with a fixed schedule of 08:00‑17:00.
