Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Operations Senior Chief to lead our logistics and warehouse team in the thriving manufacturing hub of Kab. Grobogan. This senior‑level position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly, inventory is accurately tracked, and our warehouse staff are motivated and well‑coordinated. Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain optimal stock accuracy.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of supervisors, forklift operators, and warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Coordinate closely with production planning, procurement, and sales departments to synchronize material flow and meet delivery commitments.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment rate, dock-to‑stock time, and labor productivity, and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular audits and training sessions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software to generate reports, forecast space utilization, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Plan and supervise the layout of the warehouse, optimizing space for pallets, racking systems, and material handling equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external logistics partners, carriers, and vendors, negotiating service terms and monitoring performance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering is a plus.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in warehouse or logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, warehouse management systems (WMS), and material handling best practices.
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills with a proven ability to build high‑performing teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP or WMS platforms.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Willingness to relocate and work on‑site in Kab. Grobogan.
