Introduction
The Supervisor Produksi – Pengawasan Operasional Pabrik is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of our automotive service workshop. This position blends technical expertise with strong leadership, ensuring that both car and large‑motorcycle (motor gede) repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of mechanics specialized in engine service for cars and large motorcycles, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and technical standards.
- Develop and maintain daily work schedules, balancing workload distribution to meet service level agreements and minimize downtime.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking spare parts, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to secure timely deliveries and favorable pricing.
- Communicate technical findings and cost estimates clearly to customers, providing transparent explanations of required repairs and recommended maintenance.
- Prepare detailed service reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present weekly achievement summaries to senior management.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean workshop practices, to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall service quality.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and training sessions for the workshop staff.
- Coordinate with the finance department for invoicing, warranty claims, and cost control measures.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a D3 or SMK diploma in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in a car or large‑motorcycle service center, with a proven track record of supervising technical teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of motivating staff and handling customer interactions professionally.
- In‑depth knowledge of workshop management, parts logistics, and engine diagnostics for both automobiles and high‑capacity motorcycles.
- Official technician certification (e.g., B1/B2) is highly preferred.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and a results‑oriented mindset; ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets.
