Introduction
The Steward Layanan Penumpang Internasional is a pivotal role within our airline’s cabin crew team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to passengers on international flights. This position is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and have a passion for hospitality, particularly in food preparation and service. Working six days a week from Monday to Saturday, you will be an ambassador of the airline’s brand, ensuring every traveler experiences comfort, safety, and a memorable journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers during boarding, in‑flight service, and disembarkation, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience.
- Prepare, arrange, and serve meals and beverages in accordance with the airline’s quality standards and dietary requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cabin, including regular checks of seat trays, lavatories, and galley areas.
- Conduct safety briefings, demonstrate emergency equipment, and assist with evacuation procedures if required.
- Coordinate with the flight deck and ground staff to relay important passenger information and flight updates.
- Handle special requests such as infant care, assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, and addressing medical needs.
- Monitor cabin inventory, report any shortages, and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Participate in pre‑flight briefings, post‑flight debriefings, and continuous training sessions to stay current with airline policies and industry best practices.
- Uphold the airline’s service standards by demonstrating professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 25 years old (male candidates are preferred, but all genders are welcome).
- Strong interest or hobby in cooking, with the ability to prepare simple, high‑quality meals for passengers.
- Excellent teamwork skills; able to collaborate effectively with cabin crew, pilots, and ground personnel.
- Demonstrated work ethic: willing to work hard, remain diligent, and maintain a high level of perseverance.
- Disciplined, responsible, and punctual, with a clear understanding of safety and service protocols.
- Basic proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language skills are a plus.
- Physical fitness to handle long hours on foot, lift luggage, and manage cabin equipment.
