Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Service Advisor to join our growing automotive service team in the Cimanggis area. This front‑line position serves as the primary liaison between customers and our workshop, ensuring every vehicle that enters our facility receives top‑notch service, clear communication, and a seamless experience. The ideal candidate will combine a solid understanding of automotive mechanics with exceptional interpersonal skills, helping to build trust and loyalty among our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and conduct thorough vehicle intake interviews to capture all service requests and concerns.
- Provide detailed explanations of repair estimates, service options, and recommended maintenance schedules in a way that is easy for customers to understand.
- Coordinate with mechanics and parts department to schedule work orders efficiently, ensuring optimal bay utilization and minimal wait times.
- Monitor the progress of each service job, updating customers regularly via phone, SMS, or email, and addressing any changes or additional findings promptly.
- Maintain accurate service records in the dealership management system, including customer history, warranty information, and parts usage.
- Handle billing, payment processing, and invoicing, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services such as tire rotations, fluid flushes, or seasonal inspections, always focusing on customer safety and vehicle longevity.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism, turning potential issues into positive outcomes.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss workflow improvements, share feedback, and stay updated on new vehicle technologies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area, showcasing the professionalism of our service department.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor level); high school (SMA/SMK) graduates with relevant automotive training are also considered.
- Age: 20 years or older.
- Residency: Must reside in Depok, Cimanggis, Cibubur, Cikeas, Wanaherang, or surrounding neighborhoods.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and personal vehicle for commuting.
- Technical background: Graduates of SMK Automotive (Otomotif) programs or individuals with prior experience as a mechanic.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills, with the ability to explain technical information in plain language.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and service management software.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
- Team‑player attitude, high attention to detail, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
