Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Officer – Banking to join our fast‑growing team in the Kota Palu area. This role is focused on driving motor‑vehicle financing and refinancing solutions, while building strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers. As the front‑line representative of our financial institution, you will act as a trusted advisor, guiding borrowers through the credit application process and ensuring a seamless, professional experience.

The ideal candidate will combine a solid academic foundation with at least one year of hands‑on experience in marketing or banking, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a polished, professional demeanor. Flexibility to work in a location that aligns with the applicant’s domicile and the bank’s operational needs is required.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell motor‑vehicle financing products, including new‑car loans, used‑car loans, and refinancing facilities.
  • Identify and qualify potential borrowers through cold‑calling, networking events, and referral programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as dealers, corporate partners, and community organizations.
  • Guide customers through the credit application process, gathering required documentation and ensuring completeness.
  • Conduct creditworthiness assessments and feasibility analyses to determine loan eligibility.
  • Monitor the performance of active financing portfolios, taking proactive steps to mitigate risk and maintain high repayment quality.
  • Collaborate with internal credit, risk, and underwriting teams to expedite approvals while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular sales reports, market feedback, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Participate in continuous training programs to stay current on product developments, industry trends, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or equivalent) in any discipline; a background in finance, economics, or business is advantageous.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in banking, financial services, or marketing sales.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the bank’s brand standards.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability – comfortable evaluating credit data, sales figures, and performance indicators.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with CRM or loan‑origination systems.
  • Willingness to be placed in a work unit that matches the applicant’s domicile and the company’s operational needs.
  • Gender: open to all applicants.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
