Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, temperature, and presentation for every cup served.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other coffee‑making equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic kitchen duties such as preparing pastries, sandwiches, and light meals to complement the beverage menu.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, answering inquiries about coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the service counter, equipment, and dining area throughout the shift.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and consumables, alerting management when stock is low.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Contribute ideas for new menu items, seasonal promotions, and creative latte art to keep the offering fresh and exciting.
- Collaborate closely with fellow baristas and kitchen staff, supporting teammates during peak periods and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome; candidates must present a neat, professional appearance.
- At least 0‑1 year of experience as a barista or in a kitchen setting; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage warmly with customers.
- Honesty, discipline, and a reliable work ethic.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
- Creative flair for latte art and beverage presentation, coupled with consistency in execution.
- Genuine passion for coffee culture and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
- Preference given to applicants residing in the BTP, Perintis, Sudiang, or surrounding areas.
- Availability to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
