Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pengawas Lapangan Proyek Konstruksi (Construction Site Supervisor) to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role oversees day‑to‑day activities on active construction sites, ensuring that every phase of the project complies with engineering specifications, safety regulations, and client expectations. As a key liaison between project managers, subcontractors, and on‑site workers, the successful candidate will play an essential part in delivering high‑quality infrastructure on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on‑site construction activities, including concrete works, masonry, steel erection, and finishing trades.
- Monitor daily progress against the project schedule, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce compliance with occupational health and safety standards, and report incidents to senior management.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate execution.
- Manage the allocation and usage of materials, tools, and equipment, guaranteeing optimal utilization and minimizing waste.
- Facilitate clear communication among architects, engineers, subcontractors, and labor crews, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering progress, productivity, quality control, and any arising issues.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to verify timely delivery of supplies and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Mentor junior staff and apprentices, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, equipment usage, and site logs for audit and billing purposes.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s project requirements).
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates must demonstrate physical fitness for site duties.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience supervising construction projects, preferably in residential or commercial sectors.
- Professional competence in construction methods, building codes, and project documentation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Cooperative and team‑oriented mindset, capable of working independently when required.
- Own reliable transportation to travel between multiple project locations.
- Proficiency in using basic office software (MS Office) and familiarity with construction management tools.
