Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives in the Malang region. This full‑time position offers the opportunity to work closely with a network of retail outlets and construction material agents, driving growth for a leading distributor in the building‑materials sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market share, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment from initial contact to final payment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute daily visits to retail stores and authorized agents throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with existing customers while actively prospecting new accounts.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, aligning performance with company KPIs.
- Present product portfolios, explain technical specifications, and promote promotional campaigns and newly launched items.
- Capture visit details, order information, and market insights in the CRM system; generate regular activity reports and order summaries.
- Coordinate order processing, delivery scheduling, and payment collection by working closely with internal logistics, finance, and support teams.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Conduct product training sessions for agents and store staff to improve product knowledge and upselling capabilities.
- Maintain a well‑organized calendar, ensuring punctuality for a standard workweek of Monday to Saturday, 08:30‑16:30.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; all study fields are acceptable.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in retail or building‑materials outlets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing a defined geographic area.
- Own a reliable motorbike and possess a valid SIM C driver’s license.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple orders and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Self‑motivated with a customer‑centric mindset and the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
