Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Remedial Officer to join our dynamic team in Pangandaran immediately. This critical role focuses on managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R) and ensuring timely collections for our multifinance portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with branch staff, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive recovery efforts while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

As a key member of the collections department, you will be expected to balance assertive recovery tactics with empathetic customer service, reflecting our commitment to both financial performance and client satisfaction. The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing a structured yet dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all activities related to the collection of overdue A/R, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct field visits to customers for on‑site negotiations, payment arrangements, and relationship building.
  • Collaborate with branch managers to identify and resolve problematic accounts, providing actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets set by senior management, reporting progress through detailed dashboards.
  • Analyze customer payment patterns and credit data to develop tailored recovery strategies.
  • Prepare and present collection status reports, highlighting trends, obstacles, and success stories.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, documenting all communication and actions taken.
  • Support the development of training materials for junior collection staff and share best practices.
  • Coordinate with legal teams when escalation to formal recovery processes becomes necessary.
  • Uphold data privacy and confidentiality standards while handling sensitive financial information.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field with a GPA of at least 2.50.
  • At least 2 years of experience in collections, preferably within a multifinance or banking environment; fresh graduates with strong analytical potential are also welcome.
  • Deep understanding of the multifinance business model and a results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing diverse customer groups.
  • High integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and perseverance in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and consumer behavior.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach to obstacles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at a basic to intermediate level.
  • Own a reliable personal vehicle and hold a valid SIM A/C driving licence.
  • Male candidates only, age not exceeding 30 years.
