Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This pivotal role will be based in a vibrant hotel and resort environment, where accuracy, integrity, and strategic insight are essential to support our growing business operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, hands‑on experience with financial statements, and the ability to lead a small team of accountants while collaborating closely with other departments such as operations, sales, and human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end & year‑end closing processes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze comprehensive financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate the preparation of periodic management reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators that aid senior leadership in strategic decision‑making.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate reconciliation, and effective cash‑flow forecasting.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, meticulousness, and ethical conduct.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to reconcile cost of goods sold, monitor expense trends, and support budgeting initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, performing regular audits to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and macros to streamline data analysis and reporting efficiency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies to ensure accurate filing of tax returns and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing financial expertise for new hotel openings, renovation budgets, and technology investments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting; experience within the hospitality sector (hotel/resort) is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in journal posting, preparation of financial statements, and day‑to‑day financial administration.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization).
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional flexibility for month‑end or audit deadlines.
  • Team‑player attitude, capable of leading a small accounting unit while collaborating across departments.
