Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month‑end & year‑end closing processes.
- Prepare, review, and analyze comprehensive financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.
- Coordinate the preparation of periodic management reports, variance analyses, and key performance indicators that aid senior leadership in strategic decision‑making.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate reconciliation, and effective cash‑flow forecasting.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, meticulousness, and ethical conduct.
- Collaborate with the procurement and inventory teams to reconcile cost of goods sold, monitor expense trends, and support budgeting initiatives.
- Maintain and improve internal controls, performing regular audits to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and macros to streamline data analysis and reporting efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies to ensure accurate filing of tax returns and compliance documentation.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing financial expertise for new hotel openings, renovation budgets, and technology investments.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting; experience within the hospitality sector (hotel/resort) is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in journal posting, preparation of financial statements, and day‑to‑day financial administration.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data visualization).
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional flexibility for month‑end or audit deadlines.
- Team‑player attitude, capable of leading a small accounting unit while collaborating across departments.
