The successful candidate will work primarily from our Palembang branch, conducting on‑site visits, engaging with delinquent borrowers, and executing collection strategies in a courteous yet firm manner. Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to delinquent borrowers to negotiate repayment plans and recover outstanding amounts.
- Prepare and deliver accurate collection reports using MS Office or Open Office, documenting each interaction and outcome.
- Coordinate with internal credit and legal teams to verify debtor information and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform cash or electronic withdrawals when required, adhering to company security protocols.
- Maintain a systematic filing system for all collection-related documents, ensuring traceability and audit readiness.
- Identify early warning signals of potential default and proactively recommend preventive actions to management.
- Provide courteous, solution‑focused communication to borrowers, helping them understand payment options and the consequences of non‑payment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow collectors and supervisors to achieve branch collection targets and improve overall recovery rates.
- Participate in regular training sessions, especially on the SPPI (Sertifikat Penagihan Piutang Indonesia) standards, to enhance professional competency.
- Represent the company positively during community interactions, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to ethical collection practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 28 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a financing or credit collection environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Open Office for reporting and data entry.
- Strong analytical skills – able to assess debtor situations critically and propose realistic solutions.
- Personal attributes: meticulous, persistent, loyal, polite, and able to work under pressure.
- Valid SPPI certification is a distinct advantage.
