Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Mekanik Depan – Spesialis Bongkar Pasang to join our dynamic automotive service network across Jawa and Bali. As a front‑end specialist, you will be responsible for the precise disassembly, inspection, and re‑assembly of suspension, steering, and related chassis components. Responsibilities
- Execute front‑end dismantling and re‑assembly tasks in strict accordance with the directions of the Kapten Mekanik and established SOPs.
- Diagnose faults in suspension, steering, shock absorbers, tie‑rods, ball joints, bushings, and other chassis parts, recommending corrective actions.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment such as hydraulic presses, wheel‑balancing machines, and impact wrenches safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring that all parts, tools, manuals, and hand‑tool sets are stored properly after each job.
- Perform quality checks on completed repairs to guarantee compliance with safety standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with peers and senior technicians to troubleshoot complex issues, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Document service reports accurately, including parts used, labor hours, and any recommendations for future maintenance.
- Assist in training newly hired mechanics and fresh graduates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management or the board of directors, such as inventory checks or special projects.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; willingness to travel (rolling) to any Jantrakakikaki branch throughout Jawa‑Bali.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; automotive engineering or SMK Otomotif preferred.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a front‑end or chassis mechanic; fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are also encouraged to apply.
- Active SIM C; possession of SIM A is considered a valuable plus.
- Normal visual acuity – no myopia or other vision impairments that could hinder precise work.
- Proficiency with suspension, steering, and related components (shock absorber, tie‑rod, ball joint, bushing, etc.).
- Familiarity with workshop tools: hydraulic press, wheel‑balancing/spooring equipment, impact wrench, and standard hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating discipline, attention to detail, and accountability.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with a customer‑service mindset.
