Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Bimbingan Belajar Hijaiyah to join our educational team and support the spiritual and academic development of elementary school students (SD). This full‑time position is based in a supportive, faith‑centered environment where teachers are encouraged to nurture a love for learning, Islamic values, and the Arabic script (Hijaiyah). The ideal candidate will be a compassionate Muslimah with a strong educational background, excellent Quranic recitation skills, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging Hijaiyah lessons for grades 1‑6, ensuring each student grasps the fundamentals of Arabic letters and pronunciation.
- Integrate Quranic recitation practice into daily lessons, modeling proper tajweed and encouraging correct memorization techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive activities that align with the school’s curriculum and Islamic educational standards.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, oral examinations, and observation, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain a disciplined yet friendly classroom atmosphere, promoting respect, responsibility, and teamwork among learners.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to coordinate interdisciplinary projects and school events.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach programs focused on child development and religious education.
- Uphold the school’s values of honesty, humility, and devotion to Allah and Rasul‑Nya, serving as a role model for students.
- Respond promptly to parent inquiries, providing updates on student performance and addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson documentation, and reporting in accordance with school policies.
Requirements
- Female Muslim (Muslimah) with a strong commitment to Islamic teachings.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language, or a related field.
- Proven ability to read and recite the Qur’an with proper tajweed; certification or documented proficiency is preferred.
- Experience teaching children, preferably in primary or religious education settings.
- Deep love for working with children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, quick response time, and ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality.
- Adherence to the principles of “Bermahnaj Salaf” (following the righteous predecessors) in both teaching and personal conduct.
- Age requirement: up to 35 years old (maximum 0 years beyond this limit, interpreted as “no age excess”).
- Available to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
