Introduction

In this role, you will be the front‑line ambassador of Amartha’s financing programs, building strong relationships with micro‑small and medium enterprises (UMKM) and ensuring that our services reach those who need them most.

This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will combine on‑the‑ground outreach with analytical evaluation, helping to expand Amartha’s impact while developing valuable skills in sales, relationship management, and financial assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential UMKM partners through community visits, local events, and referrals.
  • Conduct comprehensive socialization sessions to explain Amartha’s financing solutions, eligibility criteria, and benefits.
  • Recruit new UMKM partners, guiding them through the application process and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
  • Perform feasibility surveys and in‑depth business evaluations, analyzing cash flow, market potential, and repayment capacity.
  • Prepare detailed recommendation reports for the financing committee, highlighting risk assessments and growth prospects.
  • Organize regular meetings and workshops with partnered entrepreneurs, offering economic and business coaching to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain long‑term relationships with “ibu mitra” (female partners), acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact for ongoing support.
  • Collect installment payments from group members or individual borrowers, ensuring timely and accurate cash flow.
  • Monitor field activities to guarantee strict adherence to Amartha’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide weekly and monthly field reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for portfolio expansion.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School (SMA) / Vocational (SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age range: 18 – 32 years (must possess a valid KTP).
  • No prior experience required; fresh graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
  • Own a motorbike and hold a valid SIM C (motorcycle driver’s license).
  • Strong communication skills – able to convey complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to understand and meet the needs of UMKM owners.
  • Analytical abilities for evaluating sales data, business viability, and repayment risk.
  • High level of honesty, attention to detail, and a hardworking attitude.
  • Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 20:00, including occasional field trips to remote locations.
