Responsibilities
- Process all customer transactions through the POS system with speed and precision, handling cash, card, and mobile payments.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related inquiries, and recommend complementary items to boost sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing product display, ensuring that breads, cakes, and pastries are stocked attractively.
- Monitor inventory levels, record stock movements, and coordinate with the back‑office team to replenish items before they run out.
- Conduct routine quality checks on all baked goods, confirming that only fresh and properly packaged products reach the sales floor.
- Identify and prevent potential fraud or discrepancies in cash handling and inventory management.
- Keep the cashier area, display shelves, and surrounding store space clean, sanitary, and compliant with health regulations.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, POS shutdown, and securing the premises.
- Collaborate with bakers and floor staff to ensure smooth peak‑hour operations and timely resolution of any customer concerns.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on product knowledge, POS upgrades, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates, aged 35 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience in cashiering, retail, or food & beverage service.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers or POS systems; basic computer literacy is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and high personal integrity.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
- Customer‑service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fundamental understanding of stock management and quality‑control procedures.
- Residence in Jakarta preferred, with personal transportation for reliable commute.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and shifts from 06:30 to 22:00.
