Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Acquisition Merchant (EDC) – Sidoarjo Region to join our rapidly expanding fintech team. This position focuses on building strong relationships with micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM) in the Sidoarjo area, introducing them to our state‑of‑the‑art Electronic Data Capture (EDC) solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment, possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and be motivated by clear performance targets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door‑to‑door canvassing and cold‑calling campaigns to identify prospective UMKM clients interested in EDC machines.
  • Present product features, pricing structures, and value propositions in a clear, compelling manner, tailoring the pitch to each merchant’s specific business needs.
  • Achieve a daily sales target of 2–3 EDC units while maintaining high conversion rates and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of leads using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely updates of contact information, meeting notes, and sales stages.
  • Provide on‑site product demonstrations, handle objections, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements.
  • Coordinate with the implementation team to guarantee smooth installation, activation, and post‑sale support for new merchants.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecast future sales volumes, and share market insights with the regional manager.
  • Participate in weekly training sessions and product workshops to stay current on the latest fintech trends and regulatory changes affecting the UMKM sector.
  • Represent the company at local business events, trade fairs, and community gatherings to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in fintech, payment solutions, or related technology products.
  • Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle for efficient territory coverage.
  • Open to candidates of any gender; diversity and inclusion are core company values.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with small business owners.
  • Excellent negotiation, objection‑handling, and closing abilities.
  • Self‑discipline, time‑management, and the resilience to work independently in a demanding field environment.
  • Proficiency with basic sales analysis tools and ability to interpret performance metrics.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional weekend events.
