Responsibilities
- Greet and assist walk‑in customers, providing clear information about our services, pricing, and turnaround times.
- Collect design briefs, verify file specifications (size, color mode, resolution) and ensure proper naming conventions before processing.
- Export, convert, and edit customer files as needed, guaranteeing that all output meets the company’s quality standards.
- Handle color‑proof requests, preparing physical or digital proofs and communicating any necessary adjustments to clients.
- Process orders efficiently, from initial intake through final delivery, minimizing errors and avoiding unnecessary delays.
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule print runs, resolve technical issues, and maintain a smooth workflow across shifts.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, software updates, and emerging design techniques to continuously improve service quality.
- Participate in nightly shift duties (16:00‑24:00) and be available for weekend work when required, ensuring 24‑hour coverage for high‑volume periods.
- Document all customer interactions and project details in the internal management system for future reference and audit purposes.
- Uphold a professional, courteous, and honest demeanor at all times, representing the company’s brand positively.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma (SMK) in DKV, Multimedia, or a related design field.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in a design or customer‑service role within a printing, advertising, or multimedia environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW; ability to work confidently with file export, color management, and layout adjustments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects, especially those involving print preparation and proofing.
- Excellent communication skills—friendly, articulate, and able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical clients.
- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and a sense of responsibility; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work night shifts (16:00‑24:00) and occasional weekend days when business demands.
- Residency in Padang, Sumatera Barat, with reliable transportation to the workplace.
- Not currently enrolled in any educational program (full‑time availability).
