We are seeking an Experienced Professional Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Perform daily mise en place, including chopping, marinating, and organizing all ingredients needed for service.
  • Utilize core cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, boiling, and baking with precision and speed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to SOPs for sanitation, equipment handling, and waste management.
  • Document ingredient usage, monitor inventory levels, and communicate restocking needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Collaborate with cook helpers, baristas, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new menu items, providing feedback on flavor balance and operational feasibility.
  • Participate in regular safety and hygiene briefings, and promptly address any potential hazards.
  • Adapt to rotating shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet business demands.

Requirements

  • Maximum age of 35 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK with a focus on Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1–2 years of professional cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food‑service establishment.
  • Proven mastery of fundamental cooking techniques: grilling, frying, boiling, and sautéing.
  • Strong ability to work quickly while maintaining cleanliness and strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues across all kitchen stations.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including Saturdays and occasional overtime during peak periods.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Demonstrated commitment to food safety, hygiene standards, and continuous improvement.
