Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collection Officer to join our dynamic team in the Banjarmasin/Gambut region. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow for our financial services portfolio by conducting on‑site visits to customers with overdue credit installments. Responsibilities
- Visit customers at their residences to conduct face‑to‑face collection activities for overdue loan repayments.
- Explain payment options, negotiate settlement plans, and secure commitments in line with company policy.
- Achieve monthly collection targets set by the regional manager, balancing recovery rates with customer satisfaction.
- Meet daily visitation quotas, ensuring efficient route planning and optimal use of travel time.
- Document all interactions accurately in the company’s digital collection system using an Android smartphone.
- Adhere to legal and regulatory guidelines governing debt collection, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Identify early warning signs of potential defaults and relay insights to the credit risk team for proactive intervention.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, customer service, and legal—to resolve disputes and streamline the collection process.
- Provide feedback on common customer objections and suggest improvements to collection scripts and procedures.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, negotiation techniques, and compliance updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent (Package C).
- Valid Indonesian driving licence (SIM C) with an active status.
- Own a reliable motorcycle for daily field visits.
- Own an Android smartphone (Android 8 or higher) with internet capability.

- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in field collection or a related financial services role; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly.

- Basic numeracy and data entry proficiency to accurately record payment information.
