We are now looking for an enthusiastic Restaurant Cashier with strong customer service skills to join our front‑of‑house team and help deliver a seamless, enjoyable experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Operate the POS (point‑of‑sale) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining strict adherence to cash‑handling procedures.
- Greet guests warmly, answer basic menu questions, and guide them through the self‑service ordering process.
- Process orders efficiently, ensuring that every transaction reflects the correct pricing, promotions, and loyalty program benefits.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to confirm order readiness and resolve any discrepancies before customers receive their items.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including regular cash drawer reconciliation at the start and end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory of cash receipts, receipt paper, and ancillary supplies, notifying the manager when re‑stocking is required.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and occasional complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to the floor manager when necessary.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, such as verifying daily sales reports, securing cash deposits, and ensuring the store meets health and safety standards.
- Promote seasonal donut varieties, beverage pairings, and any ongoing promotions to increase average ticket size.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, POS upgrades, and service excellence techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- All genders are welcome to apply.
- Strong command of POS equipment and basic cash‑handling skills.
- Preferable experience in hospitality, food & beverage (F&B), or previous cashier/floor‑staff roles.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated responsibility, honesty, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Sunday) and shifts from 08:00 to 22:00.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in food and beverage service etiquette.
