Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pengawas Lapangan Operasional Proyek Konstruksi to join our dynamic construction team. This on‑site supervisory role is critical for ensuring that every phase of our building projects complies with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in construction practices, strong leadership abilities, and a proactive mindset to manage daily field activities across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit detailed daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting milestones, issues, and corrective actions.
- Verify that all construction work aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Supervise the quality and quantity of materials, equipment, and workmanship, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to identify potential safety hazards, non‑conformities, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and project planners to maintain seamless workflow.
- Compile and deliver comprehensive status reports to the project owner and senior management on a regular basis.
- Track and quantify completed work, adjusting schedules and budgets as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a defect log, overseeing timely remediation during the construction and maintenance phases.
- Support the project manager by performing additional tasks as directed, including resource allocation, material logistics, and on‑site problem solving.
- Foster a culture of safety by enforcing occupational health and safety standards and conducting toolbox talks.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; high school diploma (SMK) acceptable with relevant experience.
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience as a Field Supervisor, Site Engineer, or comparable position in the building construction sector.
- Thorough understanding of construction workflow, operational processes, and safety regulations (OSHA, local standards).
- Proven ability to monitor, coordinate, and report on complex field activities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of directing diverse crews and liaising with stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving aptitude, decisive, responsible, and able to perform under pressure.
- Willingness to work mobile, spending the majority of time on construction sites, including occasional weekend work (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00).
