Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Pengawas Layanan Kebersihan (Cleaning Services Supervisor) to lead our facility‑wide hygiene operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of cleaning standards with excellent leadership and communication skills. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of fundamental cleanliness principles, waste management, and occupational health safeguards across all work areas.
- Plan, assign, and monitor both routine and non‑routine cleaning tasks for a team of cleaners, laundry staff, and maintenance aides.
- Coordinate daily activities with team leaders (ketua regu) to ensure coverage of cleaning, security, laundry, kitchen, and facility‑maintenance zones.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Customer Service department, promptly addressing complaints, feedback, and service improvement requests.
- Develop technical analyses and reports on cleaning processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and enhanced safety.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records in MS Office, including schedules, inventory of cleaning supplies, and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular training sessions to reinforce best practices, communication protocols, and leadership development among staff.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any field; relevant certifications in facilities management are a plus.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Supervisor in cleaning services or a closely related discipline.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and scheduling.
- Deep understanding of environmental cleanliness standards, waste handling, employee health protection, and PPE usage.
- Ability to analyze technical data, generate actionable insights, and implement process improvements.
