Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Petugas Penagihan Lapangan to join our dynamic team in Bojonegoro. This field collections officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our portfolio by visiting customers who are behind on installment payments, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring accurate reporting to management. The ideal candidate is a reliable, results‑driven individual with a solid high‑school education, a valid motorcycle license, and a willingness to travel throughout the Bojonegoro region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and ad‑hoc visits to the residences of borrowers who have missed installment payments, adhering to company protocols and local regulations.
- Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, listening to their concerns, explaining payment options, and negotiating repayment plans that are both realistic for the borrower and beneficial for the company.
- Document every visit thoroughly, capturing details such as payment promises, obstacles faced, and any promises of future payment, then submit these reports to the supervising officer within the stipulated timeframe.
- Maintain a clean and up‑to‑date database of collection activities, ensuring that all entries are accurate, timely, and reflect the current status of each account.
- Collaborate closely with the credit control team, providing field insights that help refine risk assessment models and improve future collection strategies.
- Identify patterns of recurring delinquency and recommend proactive measures, such as reminder calls, community outreach, or educational workshops on financial responsibility.
- Uphold the company’s reputation by treating every customer with respect, preserving confidentiality, and adhering to ethical collection practices.
- Utilize a personal motorbike and a valid SIM C to travel efficiently across assigned territories, ensuring punctuality and coverage of all scheduled visits.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are highly encouraged.
- Age: 30 – 35 years old at the time of application.
- Gender: Male (as per the current operational requirement).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field collections, debt recovery, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Possession of a personal motorbike and an active SIM C license.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a demanding schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00).
- Proficiency with basic office software (MS Word, Excel) for reporting purposes.
