As a Junior Barista, you will become the friendly face of our coffee brand, delivering high‑quality beverages and exceptional service to a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and pour‑over, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and POS systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and seasonal specials.
- Handle cash transactions, process card payments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, notifying senior staff of replenishment needs.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and equipment shut‑down.
- Collaborate with teammates to manage high‑traffic periods, ensuring prompt service without compromising quality.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, including proper sanitization protocols.
- Continuously develop coffee knowledge through on‑the‑job training and company‑provided workshops.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.

- No prior barista experience required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends, from Monday to Saturday.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers courteously.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash and operating the POS system.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when restocking supplies.
- Attention to detail, especially when measuring ingredients and maintaining drink consistency.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
