Introduction
We are partnering with a leading national distributor of CCTV, IT, and security solutions to recruit a dynamic Sales Executive – Axis CCTV & Security Solutions. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in B2B environments, possess strong technical acumen, and are driven by measurable sales targets. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between our client’s cutting‑edge surveillance portfolio and a diverse range of industries, including banking, retail, government, oil & gas, and data centers.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across verticals such as finance, retail, industrial, government, oil & gas, and data centre markets.
- Design and execute strategic sales plans, building robust pipelines for Axis CCTV, video management software (VMS), and integrated analytics solutions.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, live demonstrations, and customized solution proposals to end‑users, system integrators, and consultants.
- Establish and nurture long‑term relationships with distributors, channel partners, system integrators, and key decision‑makers.
- Collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams to develop accurate tender documents, proof‑of‑concept (POC) setups, and cost‑effective proposals.
- Track, analyse, and report on sales performance against quarterly and annual KPIs, adjusting tactics to exceed targets.
- Conduct regular site visits, customer meetings, and business trips to maintain a strong market presence and gather competitive intelligence.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on client needs and emerging industry trends.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of IP‑based CCTV, networking (LAN, WAN, PoE), and integrated security technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven B2B sales experience in CCTV, IT, networking, or security systems.
- Solid understanding of IP CCTV, VMS platforms, LAN/WAN networking, PoE, and integrated security components such as access control, audio, and video analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical presentations and product demos for diverse audiences.
- Existing network of relationships with system integrators, contractors, or end‑users is a strong advantage.
- Target‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and business trips; a valid driving licence (SIM A/C) is a plus.
- Self‑motivated, capable of working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
