Introduction
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) to represent our premium Bakpia Kukus Tugu stand, located in the bustling Tugu district. This role is focused on promoting a line of high‑quality traditional herbal drinks (jamu) to a diverse customer base. As the face of our brand at the stand, you will create memorable customer experiences, drive sales through effective cross‑selling, and uphold the visual standards of our product displays. The position offers a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
Responsibilities
- Actively approach and engage customers, presenting the benefits of our jamu products in a compelling manner.
- Deliver a memorable customer experience by being friendly, attentive, and responsive to each shopper’s needs.
- Explain product features, health advantages, and unique selling points with clear, persuasive language.
- Identify opportunities for cross‑selling complementary items and up‑selling premium varieties to increase average transaction value.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing stand, ensuring all products are properly stocked and attractively displayed.
- Conduct regular checks on product condition, including packaging integrity, expiration dates, and overall presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and coordinate restocking to avoid product shortages.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, reconciling daily sales with cash deposits and preparing simple sales reports.
- Adhere to all company SOPs, health and safety regulations, and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Collaborate with the store manager and fellow team members to achieve weekly sales targets and promotional goals.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales promotion, retail, or a similar customer‑facing role.
- Female candidates only; non‑hijab, with a presentable, neat, and confident appearance.
- Maximum age of 33 years.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a persuasive, yet courteous, sales style.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively.
- Positive, energetic attitude, with a genuine passion for providing excellent service.
- Basic numeracy for handling cash, performing transactions, and generating simple sales reports.
- Flexibility to work Tuesday through Sunday, 09:00 – 17:00, including occasional peak‑season days.
- Preferred: Prior experience as an SPG or in promotional campaigns within the food‑beverage sector.
