Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Housekeeping (Petugas Kebersihan) to join our premium villa resort located in a picturesque coastal region. Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces according to established SOPs.
- Prepare and service villas for incoming guests, including linen change, minibar replenishment, and visual inspection for any maintenance issues.
- Manage laundry operations: sorting, washing, ironing, and folding of bed linens, towels, and guest clothing while ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, report low stock levels, and assist in ordering cleaning chemicals, equipment, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance teams to address guest requests, room faults, and urgent cleaning needs promptly.
- Conduct periodic deep‑cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and upholstery care on a scheduled basis.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental guidelines, including proper disposal of waste and use of personal protective equipment.
- Document daily activities in the housekeeping logbook, noting any incidents, damages, or special guest requirements.
- Provide courteous assistance to guests, responding to inquiries in clear and correct English, and ensuring a guest‑service oriented attitude at all times.
- Support team members during peak periods, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Requirements
- Male, maximum age 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel, resort, or villa setting.
- Fluent spoken English with proper grammar and pronunciation; ability to communicate effectively with international guests.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate smoothly with front office, maintenance, and food & beverage departments.
- Demonstrated knowledge of housekeeping best practices, cleaning agents, and equipment operation.
- Willingness to reside on‑site at the villa compound (preferred) to ensure rapid response to guest needs.
- Excellent personal attributes: clean, diligent, responsible, punctual, and detail‑oriented.
- Capability to handle high‑pressure situations while maintaining quality standards.
- Guest‑service orientation with a friendly, respectful, and professional demeanor.
