Responsibilities
- Perform thorough carpet washing procedures in line with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistent results.
- Operate and maintain specialized cleaning machines, including rotary scrubbers, steam extractors, and drying cabinets, using approved cleaning agents.
- Execute post‑wash processes such as drying, brushing, and finishing to restore carpet texture and appearance before customer pickup.
- Inspect each cleaned carpet for residual stains, odors, or damage, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area, regularly sanitizing tools and equipment to prevent cross‑contamination.
- Assist with the safe loading, transportation, and placement of carpets within the facility, following proper handling guidelines.
- Document work orders, track cleaning cycles, and update inventory logs to ensure accurate record‑keeping.
- Participate in shift rotations when required, including early morning or evening shifts to meet peak demand periods.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements, sustainability initiatives, and customer service enhancements during team meetings.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS (Junior High School) or equivalent.
