Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create unique, market‑ready t‑shirt designs that align with Kencana Print’s brand guidelines and target audience.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and production teams to gather project requirements, ensuring design solutions meet business objectives and production constraints.
- Optimize artwork for print, considering color management, resolution, and fabric compatibility to guarantee the highest visual impact.
- Maintain consistency of visual style across all product lines, reinforcing brand recognition and aesthetic cohesion.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while preserving attention to detail.
- Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas for seasonal collections, promotional campaigns, and limited‑edition releases.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends in fashion, streetwear, and graphic styles, integrating fresh concepts into the design pipeline.
- Prepare final deliverables, including source files, mock‑ups, and production specifications, for hand‑off to the print and merchandising teams.
- Support the team by mentoring junior designers, reviewing work for quality, and suggesting workflow improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is a plus.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within the fashion, textile, or apparel industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing t‑shirt or apparel designs, demonstrating creativity, strong visual composition, and brand alignment.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and CorelDRAW.
- Good understanding of current fashion trends, color theory, and typographic principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present concepts clearly to cross‑functional teams.
- Team‑player mindset, coupled with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a problem‑solving attitude.
- Open to working flexible hours; regular schedule is Monday‑Sunday, 09:00‑17:00.
