Introduction
We are seeking an energetic Sales Motorist – FMCG to join our dynamic distribution team in Jakarta Timur. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on face‑to‑face customer interaction, enjoy managing a daily sales route, and are motivated by clear performance targets. As a key member of our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) network, you will represent a portfolio of popular household brands, ensuring they reach retail outlets and end‑customers efficiently and with the highest level of service.
Responsibilities
- Execute direct sales visits to retail stores, convenience shops, and other designated customers along an assigned route.
- Introduce, demonstrate, and promote product features, pricing, and promotional offers to maximize shelf visibility.
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with store owners, managers, and purchasing agents.
- Monitor inventory levels on the truck, conduct stock checks, and replenish shelves to avoid out‑of‑stock situations.
- Accurately record daily sales transactions, update order forms, and submit detailed activity reports to the regional supervisor.
- Communicate upcoming promotions, new product launches, and marketing initiatives to customers, ensuring they are well‑informed and prepared.
- Maintain product presentation standards in stores, including proper placement, facings, and pricing tags.
- Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets set by management.
- Provide feedback from the field regarding market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while operating the company motorbike, and ensure the vehicle is kept in good working condition.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- No strict age limit; all ages are welcome.
- Open to all genders.
- Prior sales experience is not mandatory; fresh candidates with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Quick adaptability to changing product lines, promotional calendars, and route adjustments.
- Basic numeracy and ability to handle sales administration, including order entry and daily reporting.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a self‑driven attitude to meet daily route schedules.
- Valid driver’s license for motorbike operation and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading of product crates and spend several hours on the road each day.
