Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Pharmacist to join our dynamic pharmacy team within a leading health service organization. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing, proper storage, and timely delivery of medications.
- Maintain and verify the validity of the Surat Tanda Registrasi Apoteker (STRA) and coordinate the acquisition and renewal of the SIPA license.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with national regulations and best practice guidelines.
- Conduct medication therapy reviews, provide drug information to clinicians, and support rational drug use initiatives.
- Manage inventory control, including forecasting demand, conducting regular stock audits, and minimizing waste.
- Lead clinical pharmacy projects such as antimicrobial stewardship programs, medication reconciliation, and patient education campaigns.
- Supervise and coach junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor adverse drug events and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing pharmaceutical expertise to treatment plans and discharge planning.
- Stay current with emerging therapies, regulatory updates, and industry trends through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Master’s degree (S2) in Pharmacy; Bachelor’s degree (S1) is acceptable if complemented by relevant certifications.
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the specific posting emphasizes female candidates, with a maximum age of 28 years.
- Licensure: Active STRA (Pharmacy Registration) and willingness to obtain SIPA (Pharmacy Practice License).
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome, but candidates with up to 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience will be given priority.
- Core Skills: Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Soft Skills: Polite, friendly, honest, responsible, agile, meticulous, and capable of working both independently and within a team.
- Work Schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
