Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Tutor to join our growing team of educators. This position focuses on delivering effective, engaging, and results‑driven instruction to learners ranging from elementary school to high school levels, as well as adult learners seeking to improve their speaking and grammar skills. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured lessons that target speaking fluency, grammatical accuracy, and overall language confidence.
- Assess student proficiency through diagnostic tests, ongoing quizzes, and informal conversation, then tailor lesson plans accordingly.
- Utilize a variety of instructional materials—including textbooks, multimedia resources, and interactive online platforms—to create a stimulating learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback on student performance, set realistic goals, and monitor progress throughout the course.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and assessment results in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices, develop curriculum enhancements, and ensure consistency across all grade levels.
- Engage parents or guardians (for younger learners) in regular communication regarding student achievements and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with the latest trends in English language teaching, including digital tools, communicative methodologies, and assessment techniques.
- Prepare and administer mock examinations or practice sessions for students preparing for standardized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, or national English exams.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Demonstrated experience teaching speaking and grammar, preferably across multiple age groups (SD, SMP, SMA, and adult learners).
- Fluent, active English proficiency—both spoken and written.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate learners.
- Own a reliable laptop for lesson preparation and virtual instruction.
- Personal transportation is preferred to facilitate travel to satellite locations or student homes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional weekend workshops.
